Aveyron is a country contrasted both in terms of climate and geography or culture.
Located in the southwest of the Massif Central, Aveyron offers spectacular landscapes. Its plateaus, called the Causses, have unique flowers. Theses vaste plateaus are surrounded by some of the most charming rivers of France, for exemple, the Lot, and the Tarn rivers, which often flow in deep gorges that are perfect for canoeing or kayaking.

Different is the South wheres sheep dominate the economy. Their milk is used for making Roquefort cheese which is matured in limestone caves, a interesting place to visit.
